Copyright

The designs published on this website are protected under the terms of United States Copyright Law and may not be copied or reproduced in any way or by any means, unless you have purchased a Reproducible Master, modifiable PDF, or CAD file, and have signed the accompanying license agreement (when required by the original designer,) which allows you to modify and copy or reproduce the construction drawings. You are authorized to use the construction drawings to construct ONE (1) structure. If you wish to build more than one structure from the construction drawings you purchased, a reuse or multi-build license will be required. Some multi-build licenses and fees are offered on the plan page on the website. However, if you do not see a multi-build license offered on the plan page for a particular plan, please contact us to inquire about reuse fees and/or a multi-build license.

Local Building Codes and Zoning Requirements

Our plans are designed to meet the national building codes in place at the time each construction drawing is created. However, we do not guarantee the plans will meet all local building codes. Due to the wide range of building codes and zoning requirements in cities, counties, municipalities, and provinces throughout the United States and Canada, it is possible the construction drawings may not include all the information required by your local building department. It may be necessary to hire a local design professional or engineer/architect to adjust the plans and bring them up to local building code.

Engineering and Architectural Stamps/Seals or BCIN

Some cities, counties, states, provinces, and municipalities require that a licensed engineer or architect review and stamp the construction drawings. Our plans will not be engineered for your specific area. If you need your plans sealed or stamped by an engineer or architect, it is your responsibility to hire a licensed professional to assist you. Your local building official/department will be able to tell you if this is required to obtain building permits.

If you are building in Ontario, Canada, please be aware that we do not provide a BCIN number for Ontario.

Disclaimer

The designers of the plans published on our website have put substantial care and effort into the creation of their construction drawings.
